Welcome to Vancouver, Canada
This year, (February 2005) in an annual poll taken by the British magazine, The Economist, Vancouver has tied with Melbourne and Vienna as the best cities in which to live. The white roof of the building on the bottom left of the picture, is that of the British Colubmbia Place Stadium held up by 26 gigantic fans that runs 24 hours a day. The roof is to be replaced with a retractable rood after the Olympics are finished |
