Is there any extra cost for Naked ADSL?

Yes there is but we don’t get to keep any of it. It’s a local tariff mandated by the CRTC and it's based on your location. As an example it’s  $10.00 an month for somewhere like Vancouver or Calgary. So there is a slightly higher cost for Naked ADSL but we have to keep the connection to your home in good working order and that’s what the CRTC has decided as well.

Does it take longer to get Naked ADSL service?

No, it still takes the standard 5-7 business days, and now the line to your home is tested, checked and stripped of any analog telephone equipment. Your new Lightspeed Naked ADSL service is the only thing using the line, ensuring an even better Internet experience.

Can I use VoIP service with Naked ADSL?

Naked ADSL, like all Lightspeed’s Internet services, makes use of our Priority Cisco Core network, and it's designed for digital multimedia like VoIP and even video. We saw the future in the summer of 2005 and installed the only Cisco Priority Network in Western Canada, and quickly launched our own VoIP service, Dolphin Tel.

Do you have a digital phone and Naked ADSL bundle?

Yes we do! This is the next money saving question that a lot of our customers have asked, because they can eliminate the telephone company from their homes completely and save money while doing it. Our Freedom Plans available at Dolphin Tel (www.dolphintel.com) are in high demand because of the amazing savings available to the average residential customer. Some of our customers are saving over a hundred dollars a month or more, although not everyone will save the same amount because people use their phone and internet differently.
