Dial-Up Availability
  Lightspeed 56k dial-up service - your
       personal connection to the Internet

Can you get connected to our
   reliable 56k dial-up service?

Using Lightspeed's 56k Dial-up Internet Service is easy but there are some things to consider before you sign up and one is our access area.

Lightspeed maintains a cutting edge data center in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia and that is where we maintain our Cisco equipment that allows our 56k Dial-up Internet Service customers access to the Internet. We maintain a single access dial-up number that is located in the 604 telephone dialing area. Our "no Busy Signal" system ensures that you can get connected when you want.

We maintain a Vancouver (604 area) access number, and anyone connecting to our 56k Dial-up Internet Service from outside this dialing area will have to pay for long distance charges to their telephone provider. This is something you will need to check with your local telephone provider.

As for the computer and equipment needed to use Lightspeed's 56k Dial-up Internet Service, check our System Requirements page, or call Lightspeed's Technical Support and we can confirm that you have the basic equipment needed to connect to the Internet.
