Lightspeed's Business 56k Dial-up Internet Service is easy, reliable and can be used anywhere there is a regular telephone line.
Lightspeed maintains a cutting edge data center in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia and that is where we maintain our Cisco equipment that allows our 56k Dial-up Internet Service customers access to the Internet. We maintain a single access dial-up number that is located in the 604 telephone dialing area. Our "No Busy Signal" system ensures that you can get connected when you want.
We maintain a Vancouver (604 area) access number, however, anyone connecting to our 56k Dial-up Internet Service from outside this dialing area will have to pay for long distance charges to their telephone provider. This is something you will need to check first with your local telephone provider.
As for the computer and equipment needed to use Lightspeed's 56k Dial-up Internet Service, any standard computer with an internal or external modem manufactured in the past 5 years should be able to access our dial-up service. You can also call Lightspeed's Technical Support and we can confirm that you have the basic hardware to get connected to the Internet right now.
